Maikel & Vivi’s Wedding

Maikel and Vivi’s wedding was a big party that lasted three days, during which the joy and the desire to be together seemed never ending. Our Wedding Photographers on Lake Como pictured all friends and relatives, who arrived from far away to celebrate with this joyful German couple, gathered on the shores of Lake Como during the warm and sunny days of July. The ceremony took place under the Loggia in the wonderful Villa del Balbianello grounds in Tremezzina, a place so full of history and fascination – besides having been the set of numerous unforgettable film sets – and one of the most enchanting spots on the lake. The rest of the celebrations took place at the historical Villa Pliniana in Torno, a legendary private mansion that even Leonardo da Vinci himself visited and studied, and which now is a luxury hotel estate. During the days we spent together the glee on the spouses’ faces never faded away, beginning with the ritual motorboat ride up to the night dances and celebrations. I like to imagine that my pictures will keep and transmit the spirit of those carefree and unforgettable days forever.
